Abstract: Regional natural resource is the complicated system formed by each resources factor and its motional course.In this paper,based on constructing the index system of comprehensive assessment,which are composed of 12indexes as the original evaluation variable,resources synthetic index and the regional combination index of each natural resources area in Gansu Province are calculated out by using systematic analysis method,then special combination characteristic of the natural resources in Gansu Province is quantitatively studied and the summary of development modes of every resources area is obtained.The author thought that spacial combination type of natural resources may be divided into4kinds in Gansu Province,namely the integrated superior type of Hexi,the industry resources-dominated type in the middle and east of Gansu province,the agriculture resourcesdominated type in the south of Gansu Province,the tourism resources-dominated type in the south of Gansu province; The sustainable development of Hexi district depends on the development of whole Gansu Province, and the development of Gansu Province also needs Hexi district as a support; The middle district of Gansu province is the center area of resource mobilization between every resource zone,is tie and bridge contacting with the inside and outside,and can gain steady development only cooperated with other regions.Resource mobilization between different type resource in the province is dominated; in Gansu Province,sustainable utilization of natural resources must be consistent with the development of the west,and must obey this overall situation,exploitation of each region resource being separated from the whole situation is unilateral,and is disadvantage to play the entire function; Sustainable utilization of natural resources and sustainable development in the Gansu Province can not be separated from other provincial or international region cooperation,particularly from economic cooperation with northwest China and various province along the yellow river,at the same time,it also need cooperation with the every province along the coast with respect to regional fund,technology,talented person management etc,therefore building and perfecting the regional cooperative mechanism between provinces is the indispensable selection pledging the sustainable use of natural resources in Gansu Province.
