Review Process

Manuscript Processing Instructions:

This journal implements a review system of “Editorial Department Initial Review - Peer Expert Review - Editorial Board Review - Editor-in-Chief Final Review”. The specific manuscript review process is as follows:

Initial Review: The editorial department conducts an initial review of the manuscript within 7 days of receipt of the manuscript. The editorial department will first conduct an initial review of the manuscript. For manuscripts that lack originality, are suspected of academic misconduct, have serious scientific or technical flaws, lack valuable information, or do not conform to the journal’s content categories, the editorial department will reject the manuscript.

Peer Review: After the manuscript passes the initial review, the editorial department will invite two suitable peer experts to conduct a double-blind peer review of the manuscript. In the peer review process, the manuscript will be sent to two reviewers. The review conclusions are divided into “Accept for Publication”, “Revise and Publish”, “Revise and Resubmit”, “Not Suitable for Publication in This Journal”, and “Reject”. Manuscripts that are unanimously determined by the reviewers to be “Not Suitable for Publication in This Journal” or “Reject” will terminate the review process. The remaining manuscripts will proceed to the next step. The final review comments(accept/reject/revise)will be forwarded to the corresponding author. Authors must write a note of revision to respond to the review comments point by point, and submit a clean version of the manuscript with the changes highlighted in different colors. This process will be repeated until the reviewers and editors are satisfied with the manuscript.

Review: Manuscripts with “Revise and Resubmit” comments will be sent to the editorial board experts for review after revision.

Final Review: The final decision on whether to accept a manuscript is made by the editor-in-chief (including the deputy editor-in-chief). The final review conclusion is divided into “Accept” and “Reject”. Only a small number of manuscripts may be required to be further revised by the author or rejected.

Review Time: The initial review time for manuscripts in this journal is approximately seven days, and the peer review time is generally about one month. After the manuscript is accepted, the exclusive DOI number is obtained, and network initial release on the CNKI is realized.

Submissions by Editorial Board Members/Editors: Submissions by editorial board members and editors of this journal must also comply with all review and editing procedures of this journal. All review work on manuscripts will be conducted independently of the relevant editorial board members, editors, and their research groups. Editorial board members and editors shall not participate in the review, editing, and acceptance decisions of manuscripts written by themselves, their family members, or their colleagues.
