RURAL ECONOMIC RIGIONAL DIVISION IN XINJIANG AND BASIC THOUGHTS ON RURAL INDUSTRY STRUCTURAL ADJUSTMENT OF NON-DEVELOPMENT AREA

Abstract: This paper, which combines the quantitative means with the qualitative means and synthesizes the multipleindexes, divides primarily the types of rural economic in Xinjiang. The indexes (GDP per people, peasant netincome per family, rural non-agriculture portion and so on) selected reflects primarily the regional economic scale and the level of the structure. The whole region in Xinjiang is divided into three economic types of rural: the developed area, the comparative developed area and the undeveloped area. We analyze the static character, dynamic character, traverse comparative character of the rural industrial structure in the undeveloped area and advances the basic train of thought: (1) Develop the rural dominant industry and make the agricultural industry a coordinated process. (2) Foster the agricultural heading enterprise and develop the non-agriculture industry rapidly; (3) Popularize the ecological model of agriculture; (4) Emancipate the mind practically to develop the individual management economics and prompt the second and the third industry to develop in the rural.
