Abstract: Ningxia Huizu municipality located at inner land of northwest in China, which is the temperate zone area of half-wet and half-arid continent. There are rich tourist resources in Ningxia, which make up of strange nature landscape in the west and accumulate the special Huanghe River Culture, Great Wall Culture, Xixia Culture, Huizu Culture, Irrigation Culture, Archeology Culture, Architecture Culture, Grotto Culture and Cemetery Culture. According the new system of tourist resource classification and evaluation in CHINESE TOURIST RESOURCE INVENTORY STANDARD to generally investigate the tourist resources of Ningxia Huizu municipality, there are 185 resource units, of which are 39 natural tourist resources, 133 human tourist resources, 13 service resources. In 10 main kinds and 95 basic types tourist resources of China, there are 8 main kinds and 46 basic types tourist resources in Ningxia. The paper qualitatively and measurably evaluates the main 8 kinds tourist resources one by one, including the every type of every main kind, its proportion in the whole types of China and the important exploitation direction. In the whole structure of Ningxia Huizu municipality tourist resources, the kind of history heritage, the kind hydrology, the kind of climate and biology, the kind of physiology are in the important status. In the resources amount, the first is the kind of history heritage, and then are the kind of modern human and the kind of climate and biology. So we can make the conclusion that the main charm of Ningxia Huizu municipality is southwest landscape including great desert scene, history and culture remnant and Huizu custom.
