STUDY ON THE STRATEGY IN XINJIANG's TOURISM RESOURCE OF CULTURAL RUINS

Abstract: Cultural ruins is an important tourism resource, which has a profound meaning of tourism culture. In Xinjiang, there were plentiful cultural tourism resource of such as ruins, ancient cities, cemetery, ancient building, thousand buddha caves, rock-carving and paintings and stone figures, and have 10 cultural relics reserve unit of state, and have 141 cultural relics reserve unit of province region, and it have gigantic potentialities. On the bases of investigating and planning of tourism resources in some region of Xinjiang, this paper explains the relationship between protection and development of the cultural ruins, expounds the regularity of the cultural ruins distributing, and finds out the problems during the process of developing. Finally, this paper point out the strategy of the cultural ruins in Xinjiang, as following: (1) Harmonize the relationship between the cultural relic department and tourism department and develop the tourism commonly. (2) Set up the most famous brands and improve the reputation of the tourism resource of cultural ruins. (3) Restore some of the cultural ruins according to the plan and enhance the appreciative. (4) Limit the tourist number of the cultural ruins. (5) Divide the tourism road in the middle of cultural ruins. (6) Encourage special tourism. (7) Enrich the meaning of the cultural ruins. (8) Improve widely tourist propaganda. (9) Train men for profession of cultural ruins. (10) devote major efforts to developing the tourism resource of cultural ruins in new northern branch of Silk Road.
