Abstract: Agriculture tourism in China has a great upsurge of developing in recent years. It is developed earlier in Xinjiang than that of most places in China, when it is mainly special agriculture near visitor spots. It become popular in Xinjiang when it comes into 1990 s, and it often appeared in suburb of big urban. Agriculture tourism can be divided into four types in Xinjiang: (1) Original places of famous melons and fruits, which are distributed near famous scenery, or along important visitor line, for example, the Grape Valley of Turpan is the typical place of this type. (2) Special cultivation methods, which are also near famous spots, typical example is the Karez Paradise of Turpan. (3) Garden farms, typical examples are Kurler Gardening Farm and Changji Gardening farm in suburb of big urban. (4) Pasture tourism, which are scattered in Tianshan Mountains and Altay Mountains near cities and developed economic belts of Xinjiang. (5) Fishing tourism, which is distributed in two big inland lakes, and plain reservoir near cities, typical example are Bostan lake and Ulungur Lake and Mengjin Reservoir (6) Private manors, include typical family garden of minority nationality and private manors. Agriculture tourism is trend to multiplicity, ecology, marketing, art, specialization, gardening and courtyard.
