LANDSCAPE ECOLOGICAL PLANNING OF OASIS——A Case Study on 150th Regiment of Shihezi Reclaimation Area

Abstract: According to the results of cultivated land evaluation, two land use structure schemes formajor crops (spring wheat, corn, cotton, beet) in 2000 are optirnized and proposed by linearprogram method. The target function for the optimization is the highest economic benefit andthe conditions are maintaining soil ecological balance, planting different crops in the suitable areas, rotation of crops and herbage and meeting the social needs. In the scheme A, the economic benefit will be bigger than that in 1993, l lut trea chad up to 6890.5 tons, so this scheme is onlyand the shortage of organic fertilizer will be reached up to 6890.5 tons, so this scheme is only proposed as alternative scheme. In schemei, ftnt lizori will be only 584.7 tons and the cropswith that in 1995, but the shortage of organic ferultieted land. As a result, the scheme B iswill be evenly distributed in different grades of cultvatea han antim m scheme from a view ofrecommended to the local policy - making departments as the opumum scheme from a view of sustainable development.
