STUDY ON STRATEGY OF AGRICULTURAL EXPLOITATIONAND COUNTERMEASURES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OFXINJIANG IN 21 CENCENTURY

Abstract: Agriculture is the foundation of the national economic development in Xinjiang. With the West ExploitationStrategy is being carried out in China, agriculture has faced both opportunities and challenges, so it is essentialto improve and adjust the strategy of agriculture exploitation in Xinjiang. This paper give a synt hetic analysis ofthe dualism of the natural environment (advantages and disadvantages) and the aspects of social and economicaltrend, especially discussed the three significant problems in the process of nowadays agriculture exploitation.According the orientation of agriculture exploitation strategy in Xinjiang, the paper puts frward to implement principal tactic and the assistant tactic. The principal tactic includes: (1) agriculture sustainable development tactic; (2) boost agriculture by science and education; (3) transform agriculture resource advantages to economic advantages; (4 unbalanced and span tactic. The assistant tactic includes : (1 green agriculture tactic; (2) tapping of tal-ented person ; (3/name brand tactic; (4) urban construction tactic. Four countermeasures are proposed for the agriculture sustainable development, which include; consolidate and strengthen the basic status of agriculture; optimize and adjust the structure of agriculture; protect and improve agricultural entironment; improve boorish diat hesis.
