From 2023, Arid Land Geography will become a monthly journal
In recent years, the volume of articles and contributions in Arid Land Geography has increased significantly. In order to better adapt to the publication form, meet the needs of readers and authors, and promote the high-quality development of the journal, Arid Land Geography has been changed from bimonthly to monthly from January 2023 with the approval of the organizer and the approval of the Press and Publication Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
After the change of the publication period of Arid Land Geography, the publication cycle will be shortened, the total number of articles will be increased, the dissemination of excellent scientific research results will be accelerated, and the academic influence of the journal will be further expanded. The Journal will continue to be committed to building a platform for the publication and exchange of high-quality academic results in the field of arid zone scientific research.
Founded in 1978, Arid Land Geography is a comprehensive academic journal, superintended by Chinese Academy of Sciences, jointly sponsored by Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Geographical Society of China, and published by Science Press. In 2021, the CSCD-JCR impact factor of Arid Land Geography reaches 1.8687, ranking in the Q1 region of astronomy and earth science.
Arid Land Geography mainly publishes research and results on the physical geography, hydrology and water resources, resource exploitation and utilization, environmental change, climate, meteorology, disaster and prevention, interaction between arid land and atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, lithosphere and human activities, especially on major scientific issues in the field of resources and environment. At present, Arid Land Geography has been included in Scopus, CSCD, CSTPCD, CNKI, Wanfang, VIP and other important databases at China and abroad.
