DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION OF MINORITY CULTURE TOURISM SPOTS IN KASHI AREA

Abstract: There are 55 kinds of minorities in China who have evolved peculiar scenes and colorful national chartersdifferent from living environment and developing history. They are not only an important legacy of Chinese cul-ture, but also valuable tourism resources. The minority 's culture tourism resources mainly consist of patois, reli-gion, history, art, custom and so on, which strongly allure internal and external tourists. Therefore, to developand utilize such resources well will be an important competitive met hod of attracting tourists. However, the minority 's culture is liable to be influenced by external culture, then loses its original distinctive national features. Then how to develop and protect minority 's cultural tourism resources will concern the strategy of sustainabledevelopment of tourism in these areas. This paper attempts to put forth a preliminary discussion on how to develop and protect minority 's cultural tourism resources in Kashi, and puts forward the exploiting principles tothese tourism resources which include national, mysterious, artistic, special, traditional rules. The paper alsoemphasizes on the protection of historical cultural city, especially the ancient city zone, and integrative construction of citytourism, and boosts the progress of artistic wealth such as music and dance of Uygur. In order tobuild and develop middle west Asia market circle, Kashi should be built as a commercial center and base extend-ing to central west Asia countries around Xinjiang area, thus accelerate the formation and growth of regionaltrade tourism net system and then impel the advance of its own devdopment. This paper aims to bring forw ardsome inspirations about similar tourism development to readers.
