Abstract: Based on the macro-economic background of the great development of Western China, the favorable and unfavorable conditions and factors for the economy of Xinjiang is analyzed in the paper. According the conditions of Xinjiang, the economic development strategy of Xinjiang should adopt the market-oriented advantageous resource transferring strategy, science and technology promoting strategy and sustainable developing strategy.
