Abstract: After a note on Prof. Succow's research work, scientific visit routine and speeches about "Preservation and Conservation——Saving the Future of Human Society" in Beijing and Xinjiang, the article describes the Alternative Nobel Prize, the development of the Landscape Ecology in Germany, the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and its situation in Xinjiang.
