Abstract: Based on Markov process and Entropy principle, the norainfall duration of spring in Xinjiang is studied. The results show that the probability distribution of different dry duration subjects to exponent distribution, which is also consistent with practical data measured by sifty stations for 25 years. A map about different mean length of dry duration in xinjiang is given.
