Abstract: The waters of Ebinur Lake come from Jing river and Bortala River. The flood period of Jing River concentrated in summer, and a part of flood flowed into Ebinur Lake because of the lower capacity of draw-off the river flows. The flood of Bortala river in summer were regulated by three underground reservoirs along Bortala river valley, hence the abundant period of river flow delayed to winter, and a large amount of winter discharge flowed into Ebinur lake.
