Abstract: The distribution of Gold Placers in Altai Mts. is related compactly with the location of northwest tectonic belts, granite, containing gold mineralization zones, rock containing gold etc. and is identical with the paleoresiduum existing. No gold Deposit has been found in the mountain region, but mineral containing gold spreads widely. It can release quantity gold element and grains underwent long geologic weathering, especially the chemical weathering during Neotertiary, which supplied gold placers with abundent material source in Altai Mts. It means that gold Deposit is not the only material source of gold Placers.
