Abstract: Jinghe of Xinjiang is explained boiling river. It was called shiqi River(meaning rock lacquer)in Tang Dynasty. According to word meaning and historical records, it mean oil was floated in the river, its judgement is possible from geology structure, there are two Jinhe citys, the ruins of Anfu city is still existent, new Anfu city, that is to say later Jinhe city is ruined. there is record of Jinhe city and historical remains to investigate in 13 century.
