Abstract: Neotectogenesis is controlling the Baytik Mountain's (E.90°-91°41',N.44°-45°30')geomorphological formation process, and the principal pressure direction of neotectogenesis stress field is N-NE,the intensity decreasing from North to South. The northern part of the district is undergone mainly fault activities and differential uplift-subsidence, with the landform of high fault block mountain area and the low-lying fault basin; the middle part is formed as a rise upland of Kelameili; the southern part ascends slightly and descends by great space that makes up the arid (denudated) foundational plain and accumulative plain.
