Abstract: In view of the internal relation between the formations of gold-placers and their mineralization conditions, this paper expounds the distribution characters of gold-placers of the Altai Mountains as follows：1. the distribution of gold-placers is limited by their gold sources, 2 . the distribution of gold-placers relates to the natural condition and neotectonic movement, 3. different types of gold－placers locates at different sites, 4. gold-placer distribution has concentration and intergrowth character.
