With the observed flux data by Eddy Covariance System (EC) and Large Aperture Scintillometer (LAS) on the Cascade Ecological Zone of Horqin Sandy Land in Inner Mongolia, China in 2017,and based on the analytical footprint model, the scale relationship of sensible heat flux between EC and LAS measurement in complex underlying surface in desertification area was analyzed. The results showed that farmland is the largest proportion of the LAS source area in the study area regardless of wind direction. The area of LAS source area and the EC area of different stations are different from different wind direction and different underlying surface types. The correlations between HLAS and HEC on different underlying surfaces are different, and all of the correlation coefficient are relative low. HLAS and Hsource area were well fitted and the correlation coefficient was 1.179 8. There was a good scale-to-scale relationship between them. The state that LAS observation data are larger than the real values, and the energy closure problem, the proportion of underlying surface of non-research type and the time period of data selection are the factors affecting their correlation.
