The Water Resource Distribution and the Aridity Problem in Northern China

Abstract: By analysing the characteristics of the distribution for the time and space of the water resources in China, the author proved the feasibility and the strategy significance on diverting water from the rivers of Nujiang, Lancangjiang and Jinsajiang to settle the aridity problems of northern China. Simultaneously, the primary consideration for diverting the water from the above rivers is provided as well.
