多源土地覆盖产品在中国西北干旱区的精度评价与一致性分析

Accuracy evaluation and consistency analysis of multi-source land cover products in the arid regions of northwest China

摘要:

准确的土地覆盖产品对了解中国西北干旱区用地结构与空间组成有重要意义。选择2020年5套高分辨率土地覆盖产品,即ESA全球10 m土地覆盖产品(ESA10)、ESRI全球10 m土地覆盖产品(ESRI10)、全球30 m土地覆盖产品(Globeland30)、全球30 m细分类土地覆盖产品(GLC_FCS30)、中国年度30 m土地覆盖产品(CLCD),从分类精度、土地覆盖构成相似性、分类一致性3个方面开展多源土地覆盖产品在中国西北干旱区的精度检验与一致性评估。结果表明:(1) 5套产品中ESA10分类精度最高(88.86%),ESRI10相对较低(69.69%)。(2) 5套土地覆盖产品的面积间相关系数介于0.792~0.999之间,对西北干旱区土地构成的描述高度一致,裸地、草地与耕地构成主体土地覆盖类型(面积总和≥93.01%)。(3) 5套土地覆盖产品对西北干旱区裸地的分类一致性最高,任意2套产品组合的分类纯净度最高可达96.95%;裸地和耕地的空间一致性较高,占相应土地覆盖类型面积的56.39%以上。ESA10比其他4个产品更能准确地刻画土地覆盖结构与空间分布。研究结果可为中国西北干旱区国土空间规划与生态保护提供科学的数据遴选依据。

Abstract:

Accurate land cover products are essential for understanding land use structure and spatial composition in the arid regions of northwest China. In this study, five high-resolution land cover products from 2020 were selected: the ESA global 10 m land cover product (ESA10), the ESRI global 10 m land cover product (ESRI10), the global 30 m land cover product (Globeland30), the global 30 m fine-classified land cover product (GLC_FCS30), and the China annual 30 m land cover product (CLCD). Precision assessments and consistency evaluations of these multi-source land cover products were conducted for the arid regions of northwest China from three perspectives: classification accuracy, similarity in land cover composition, and classification consistency. The results indicate the following: (1) Among the five products, ESA10 achieved the highest classification accuracy (88.86%), whereas ESRI10 yielded a comparatively lower accuracy (69.69%). (2) The area correlation coefficients across the five products ranged from 0.792 to 0.999, demonstrating strong agreement in characterizing land composition in the arid regions of northwest China. Bare land, grassland, and cultivated land constitute the dominant land cover types, collectively accounting for ≥93.01% of the total area. (3) Classification consistency for bare land was the highest among the five products. The classification purity of any two-product combination reached up to 96.95%; the spatial consistency of bare land and cultivated land was also high, representing more than 56.39% of the area of the corresponding land cover types. Overall, ESA10 more accurately captured the land cover structure and spatial distribution compared with the other four products. These findings can provide a scientific basis for data selection in national land use planning and ecological conservation in the arid regions of northwest China.
