Abstract: For the development of calculating technique，the forecasting technique has been more and more used in the complex system of socio-economic areas． Territory planning is a regional economy planning work，which requires a great deal of support of forecasting technique as well．
In this paper，writer related the utilizations of technique in territory planning works by examples of some general forecasting objects，which are： 1）the population and labours；2）the possible investment；3）the possible eco-nomy growth；4）the effect of development of science，technique produ-ction forces．
This paper just presented the uses of forecasting technique in the terri-tory planning works in general terms．writer aims to emphasize that the modern scientific forecasting technique should be used in territory planning works．
