2014年夏初南疆一次持续性强降雨过程的水汽和动力条件分析

Water vapour and dynamic conditions of a continuity heavy rainfall over southern Xinjiang in early summer 2014

摘要: 全球变暖背景下,极端降水事件频次增多强度增大,对年降水量变化影响显著。2014年6月17~24日,塔里木盆地出现了持续性强降水过程.利用观测资料和NCEP/NCAR逐日6 h再分析资料,对强降水过程的水汽和动力条件进行了诊断分析。结果表明,此次强降水过程,垂直上升运动剧烈区域及水汽辐合区域与大降水的落区近乎吻合。中低空偏东急流加强了气旋的发展,增强了上升运动,且急流的大小决定了塔里木盆地大降水的强度,急流西伸的位置决定了降水的区域。中低空偏东急流轴末端的左侧,对应着大降水的发生区域。主要水汽源地为中亚地区、阿拉伯海和孟加拉湾,其中孟加拉湾和阿拉伯海的水汽通过季风环流输送至青藏高原,再通过高空平流和中低空回流的方式输送至塔里木盆地。

Abstract: Increase of frequency and intensity of extreme precipitation events have significant effects on annual precipitation variation. During the period of June 17 to June 24 in 2014,continuous heavy rainfall occurred over the Tarim Basin. Using the daily 6h reanalysis dataset from National Centers for Environment Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research(NCEP/NCAR),this paper investigated the dynamic and water vapor conditions during the heavy rainfall process. The results show that the rainfall area is well matched the regions of vertical ascending motion and water vapor convergence. The eastern jet in low and middle troposphere strengthens the development of circulation,and increased the ascending motion. The jet intensity and its westward points determined the intensity and regions of the heavy rainfall in the Tarim Basin,respectively. Usually at the left side of jet axis in low and middle troposphere,it corresponds to the rainfall area of heavy rainfall. The Central Asia,Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are the main sources of water vapor. The water vapor over the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal can be transported to the Tarim Basin by monsoon circulation in two steps:first,the water vapor was transported to the Tibetan Plateau by summer monsoon,and then to the Tarim Basin by the advection in high troposphere and the recirculation in low and middle troposphere.
