天山南北麓山前褶皱构造成因初探

STUDY ON GENESIS OF FOLD STRUCTURE IN THE FRONT OF MOUNTAINS ABOUT THE SOUTHERN AND NOZTHERN PIEDMONTS OF TIAN SHAN MTS

摘要: 本文论述了天山南北麓山前地带及山间盆地边缘普遍存在的山前褶皱构造地貌特征。用板块构造理论探讨天山山区的板块运动与山前褶皱构造的成因。

Abstract: The Front of Tian Shan Mts. includes its southern and northern piedmonts and the border zone of its intermontain basins. Most of the squeezed fold structures which popularly exist in this areas were formed since the later Cenozoic by neotectonic movement. The oases and the population concentrate in this areas though the earthquakes happen here frequently. Basing on the predecessors' studtes, the modern mvoement of tectonic plates effect the fold structures in the front of the Tian Shan Mts. Because the Junger and the Tarim plates squeered each other, Tian Shan Mts. rose rapidly since the later Tertiary and the fold struetures and nappe structures appeared here. The border which is the tectonic line from Aibi lake to Xinxin canyon and its two side areas are strong shock zone. The strength increase from south to north, vice versa the frequency. According to the statistics from 1800 s , the earthquakes happened over sixty, On the average, the depth of earthquake focus is from 30 km to 47 km . The action of earthquake which is connected closely with neotectonic movement and the model of tectonic plate movement is reflected directly on the feld in the front of Tian Shan Mts.
